Charles has more than 30 years experience in the wine business, starting as a winemaker and then shifting to the business end of production, operations and logistics.
In 2017 Charles decided to 'stop building brands for other people' and to build the brand for his family.
Charles works closely with farmers, cellars and winemakers who make the wine on his behalf.
The single cultivar wines are blended from grapes from different areas to add complexity.
The flagship Red Blend's grapes are all from the same estate and made by the same winemaker.

All of the wines have a low sulphur content which contributes to softness and less obvious acidity. This in turn enhances the juicy fruit flavours. Lower sulphur does not affect age-ability, But Charles is unashamedly clear that these are by now drink now wines.
